With other platform users
When you create a listing or make an offer, your name, farm/business name, and location (region only, not exact address) are visible to the counterparty. Your contact details are only shared after a trade is confirmed.
With service providers
- Resend — email delivery service (your email address only)
- Vercel — cloud hosting (processes data to serve the platform)
- Payment processors — for escrow and mobile money transactions
For legal reasons
We may share data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ssente Fields, our users, or the public.
🌍 Data Storage & International Transfers
Ssente Fields is based in Uganda. Your data is stored on servers located in the United States (via Vercel). By using our platform, you consent to this transfer.
We ensure all third-party providers have adequate data protection measures in place, including compliance with GDPR standards for users in the European Economic Area.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
